A few of us have been quietly building this place for a while now. Today we want to share what Realm Town is about and why we believe it is here for the long run.



Most of our team came from a server called Pure Realms. If you know, you know. It was one of those places where Minecraft just felt right. It was not perfect, but it had good people, cozy gameplay, and the kind of atmosphere that stuck with you.
Ever since PR's eternal hiatus, nothing really replaced it... and probably nothing will.
However, if we could even get close, it would be an honor.
We wanted to build something that feels like classic Minecraft again. Skyblock that starts with an island, a tree, and a bucket of lava. Survival that is actually about surviving, building, and playing with your friends.


We've spent a long time building custom infrastructure from the ground up: custom plugins, networking, self-hosting, etc. Everything is built specifically for Realm Town.

We did this for two reasons.
First, a lot of existing plugins and systems simply are not up to our standards. Many are bloated, poorly maintained, or too limiting. Additionally, many old-school plugins either no longer exist, or were never properly carried over to modern Minecraft. Building in-house gives us full control over how things work, how they feel, and how they evolve.
Second, and just as important, we built Realm Town to be affordable to maintain. A lot of servers shutdown because they afford to stay online. Realm Town was designed to be inexpensive, while still remaining high-performant and reliable.
We're here for the long-run.


Realm Town is not run by one single owner. It is run by a team, and every major decision is made out of passion, not financial interest. The game and the community always come first.
Behind the scenes, we are organized. Each administrator has a defined role and responsibilities within our internal hierarchy. For players, though, that should be background noise. Realm Town is about the experience, not politics/drama.

Right now, we're gearing up for a closed-alpha Skyblock playtest (more details soon to come!).
Survival is still in the works, and other potential gamemodes such as Freebuild are still in the idea stage.


We are actively looking for moderator and support staff.

There are no experience requirements for staff applications. Just be someone who genuinely cares about building a good community.


The foundation is solid, the team is locked in, and we can't wait to share more.
